Carl Sagan: A Universe Not Made For Us (via callumCGLP)

If I was forced to pick a religion, can science be it? And why do we not choose to be the caretakers of this small planet we live on as our purpose? Was it not made for us by some cosmic fluke that we should perhaps care for it while we are here?
